Hotel Majestic Plaza Prague is renowned for comprising two interconnected historical buildings. The building in Školská street was built in the 1880's and was originally a house, where Czech writer Jaroslav Hašek was born. The rooms in this building are decorated in in Biedermeier style, and feature high ceilings and original paintings. The other building with the main entrance from the Štěpánská street dates to the beginning of the 20th century and was the first office building in Prague. A total of 132 rooms are in this second building, all decorated in art deco style.
The four-star hotel has 182 rooms in total, which include 112 Superior double rooms with king size beds, 56 Superior twin rooms with separate beds, eight Deluxe rooms, five Apartments and Junior Suites, and one Panorama Suite. The deluxe rooms situated on the top floor offer breathtaking views of the Prague Castle.
