Adventure & Games

Amazing Jakes Amazing Jakes located at Collin Creek Mall features go-karts, bumper cars, miniature golf, unlimited arcade games, laser tag, rock wall climbing, food and much more. They offer three all-inclusive corporate team building packages including one with a one-hour interactive session on Outstanding Customer Service and How to Build Customer Loyalty led by a Richland College instructor; sessions can also be customized depending on your team’s needs. 

Breakout Games Breakout Games offers something more than your average trust fall, where coworkers can breakout with a real-life adventure where everyone has a part to play. All you need is a willingness to put your heads together and try something new. They supply the props, a game master, 60 minutes of challenging fun, and after game exercises that extend the experience beyond the room. It’s good for 2-8 players per room, but they can accommodate much larger groups.

Escape Expert Escape Expert has 10,500 square feet of space containing nine escape rooms and accommodating groups up to 100 people. Find clues, solve puzzles, and unlock locks and devices to stop a timer to escape your room in less than 60 minutes.

Escape Hunt Are you ready to challenge your employees in a group setting? Escape Hunt offers team building exercises by playing the games first as groups and then seminar sessions afterwards to build on corporate objectives such as ice breaking, group puzzles, IQ testing, and evaluation. The idea is learning through play. They aim to assess, discuss, analyze and teach. Escape Hunt does all of the above for teamwork, leadership, personal motivation, team structure, empowerment, initiative building, and ongoing corporate and individual improvement.

Go Ape Zip Line & Treetop Adventure If you’re ready for a totally unique outdoor experience, it’s time to Go Ape! Go Ape’s first treetop adventure course in Texas is located just minutes from the Downtown Plano Art’s District at Oak Point Park & Nature Preserve. This vast area of natural beauty sits on 800 acres and features more than just a canopy tour. The 2-3 hour journey includes five individual sections with rope ladders and 39 exciting crossings. Make your corporate event an adventure by challenging your team to overcome obstacles, conquer fears and work together to complete the course.

Main Event Main Event offers high-quality recreational bowling, billiards, laser tag, interactive games, food & beverage, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi and flexible meeting and event space with VIP accommodations for corporate meetings or group gatherings. PINSTACK From VIP bowling experiences to two-story laser tag, bumper cars, LED lit six-lane rock climbing walls, hundreds of interactive games and simulator technology, PINSTACK offers fun for everyone. A chef-inspired restaurant offers an upscale dining experience before or after gaming with modern American classics, a stacked bar, and craft cocktails. PINSTACK offers several unique corporate team building packages from a chili cook-off and bartending workshop to building rocking chairs for a Fight Illiteracy philanthropy project and putting care packages together for our men and women serving our country.

Plano Super Bowl The newly renovated Plano Super Bowl has seven VIP private bowling lanes, a large private room, big screen TV’s, and a private bar all to be used for corporate events. Call for more details regarding corporate event packages.

WhirlyBall & LaserWhirld WhirlyBall, a competitive mix of lacrosse and basketball played in bumper cars, is a great option for your corporate event. They have two large whirlyball courts, a two-story laser tag arena, several party rooms to accommodate any size group, tons of arcade games, drinks, and catered food. Plus, they are open 24 hours with a reservation.

Artsy

Board and Brush Creative Studio Private wood sign workshops allow groups to select their own wood signs or décor. Board & Brush Creative Studio offers private wood sign classes for teambuilding and corporate events. They take care of all the setup and clean up. You get three hours of studio creativity, three wood sign projects to offer your group, guided instruction from staff, and all the materials.

Bottle & Bottega Are you looking for a creative outlet to inspire your group? Let Bottle & Bottega customize a unique, fun and interactive experience. Here are some ideas: collaborate on a mural, group design competition, follow a B&B artist and replicate a painting on their own canvas, or let your team members select from 4 images and work independently on their selected painting. B&B can accommodate small and large parties from 10 people to 100+ people in your choice of venue.

Painting with a Twist Plan a private event at Painting with a Twist where you and your team can enjoy step-by-step instruction of your own personal paintings. You’ll all leave with a one-of-a-kind creation and a new found talent. Book a private event and choose from over 3,000 paintings. Food & beverage is allowed and encouraged. They can also go off-site!

Pipe and Palette In the heart of the Downtown Plano Arts District, Pipe and Palette offer private event opportunities for team building. Arrange for a paint & sip custom art lesson with each team member taking home their own project. Events after 4 p.m. include wine glasses, a wall to decorate, a large TV screen for slideshows, a food and beverage table, wine & bottle openers, and ice water. You can also use their facility as a room rental without an art class. Events ending before 4 p.m. do not allow alcohol.

Foodies

Tre Wilcox Cooking Concepts Your colleagues will recognize local cooking legend Tre Wilcox both from appearances on “Top Chef” and “Iron Chef America.”  Now, he’s the star of the show at his new cooking school and event space in Plano, where he welcomes groups for private cooking classes, dinners, and team building exercises. Battle it out in the Iron Chef Battle or the Market Basket Challenge. If competing with knives in hand isn’t your group’s thing, there’s the Family Dinner team building option where each team is responsible for making one course of the meal and at the end all will sit together to enjoy the complete meal, family dinner style.

Volunteer

Hope’s Door Group volunteer opportunities are available at Hope’s Doorwhich specializes in comprehensive intervention and prevention services for all members of a family affected by intimate partner, and family, violence – from victim to abuser.

Minnie’s Food Pantry Minnie’s Food Pantry has provided over 5 million healthy meals to families in need. Volunteers are essential to the success of Minnie’s Food Pantry Plano Volunteer “WOW” center. A typical day includes food sorting, inspecting, grocery packing and possibly working on special projects or events.
