Planning a meeting this summer? Look no farther than Tempe, Arizona. With sunny skies and a location in the middle of the Phoenix metro area, Tempe promises to be a destination your attendees will enjoy.  Tempe is less than 10 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and is connected to downtown Phoenix and the airport via Valley Metro Rail. Our city offers meeting venues that are perfect for groups of 10 to 500 attendees. And with more than 6,000 guest rooms, a dynamic downtown, Tempe Town Lake, Tempe Beach Park, and a number of other attractions, it provides a variety of options for on- and off-site meetings.  While the outside temperature may be high in summer, planners will discover great value at that time, with many hotels and venues offering cost-saving deals. Get started by selecting the Claim Promotion option on Cvent’s promotions page and reviewing the terms for each offer. The Tempe Tourism Office is offering a “Choose Tempe and Save $500” promotion this summer. To qualify, meeting planners must submit their RFP and book their business at a Tempe property. The planner can receive up $500 off their master bill if they book a minimum of 100 room nights and have $5,000 in food and beverage. Planners can choose from venues such as the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel and Conference Center, a four-diamond property with 303 guest rooms. Located in the heart of downtown Tempe, it offers 30,000 square feet of meeting space, onsite dining, and a rooftop pool. Guests enjoy easy access to more than 70 restaurants and pubs located just footsteps from the hotel. The Tempe Mission Palms is offering its popular “Pick Three” promotion this summer. Meeting professionals who book a meeting worth $10,000 to $50,000 are eligible to choose three options from the hotel’s list, including discounts on F&B, audiovisual, and up to a 5% room revenue rebate to the master account. The group must be contracted by June 30, 2018, to qualify. The Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Tempe, meanwhile, is offering a “Pick Your Perk” program that is valid from June through August 2018. Based on the number of rooms contracted, planners can choose from a list of perks, including a preferred comp room policy, upgrades, HHonor points, and complimentary office or boardroom space. The hotel offers 224 suites and 7,000 square feet of meeting space in a resort-style setting. The Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Tempe is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and a short distance from downtown Tempe. The DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix-Tempe is home to 270 guest rooms in a garden setting. The flexible meeting space includes 22 meeting rooms and a total of 30,000 square feet. The hotel’s “Planner’s Betterment Package” offers a variety of eligible dates from March to December 2018. Depending on the number of contracted rooms, planners could be eligible to receive special perks such as HHonors points, discounts on audiovisual, room upgrades, and even airfare.
