Cvent CONNECT is fast approaching and over 3,000 attendees are preparing to head to Las Vegas from July 23-26. Every year, we hand select keynote speakers that we feel deliver meaningful messages to our attendees and this year is no different.
Cvent always goes for the big names and for our “Connect + Celebrate” themed day on Wednesday afternoon, we chose Laura Schwartz, an empowering and influential professional speaker, television commentator and author.
Laura is no stranger when it comes to events. After all, she was the White House Director of Events for the Clinton Administration. She's seen and experienced it all on one of the world’s most influential stages and now, she will share her behind the scenes lessons on networking and partnership direct from our stage at Cvent CONNECT with us.
Laura has a detailed background in television as well. Throughout her career, she has been a contributor for Fox News Channel, "The CBS Early Show" on CBS, Sir David Frost's "Frost Over the World," and "Larry King Live" at CNN. She regularly contributes to BBC World News, China’s CGTV and is the guest host for 'PoliticKing with Larry King'.

Laura is the author of Eat, Drink & Succeed, in which she shares the secrets to building powerful, effective partnerships in our companies, communities and beyond while adding color with personal anecdotes from her life, the White House years as well as success stories from professionals around the world including Oprah Winfrey and Bill Clinton.
She uses her book to give back as she donates proceeds from book sales at her speaking engagements to the client’s chosen charity or scholarship program. The book is customizable and you can even create your company's own version, featuring success stories from your teams and clients.
