Introduction
Top Employers Institute are the global authority on HR strategies. They support over 2,300 organisations with their talent strategies, helping them to become certified top employers through the global Certification Programme.
Eve Lacomblez, Online Events Specialist at Top employers Institute has over ten years of experience in events and is responsible for the HQ events. Top Employers Institute run over 100 events a year globally. These are comprised of a mix of webinars and in-person and can range from small roundtables for 20 attendees, to large-scale gala dinners for 700 attendees.
Why Cvent?
After shopping around technology partners, Eve tells us how she knew Cvent had a more complete product offering. With digital and in-person events, Top Employers Institute needed one straightforward solution that could handle both aspects as well as special requirements such as onsite registrations.
Eve also strived to remove friction for attendees logging into the webinars. “With our previous provider, there were several clicks before attendees and speakers ended up in the session.” Cvent helped to simplify this process.
Powering seamless webinar programmes
When running a large webinar programme, efficiency is key. Cvent Webinars allow users to customise every aspect and create templates to make quick roll-outs simple. “My experience with Cvent has been really great. We transitioned to Cvent in August and the change has been quite impressive”, Eve explains how she and her team have been trained on the platform to make setup a hassle-free experience, “The Cvent webinar tool is so easy to use, it’s a big asset”.
Webinars are a huge priority for Top Employers Institute, however the way attendees consume online content has changed in the past year, with a switch to on-demand content. “We’ve noticed people don’t attend the live session; they tend to watch the recording when it works for them. I’m really excited to see how Cvent can help us make sure we still get those registration numbers”.

What’s next?
Top Employers Institute host several Gala dinners throughout the year. “We have been working with the event building team, their support and availability has been absolutely amazing”, Eve talks us through the process of launching the dinners, “These big events mean a lot to us, they are to congratulate our clients on being top employers for the year”.
Eve used Cvent’s integrated Registration and Event Website tools. This allowed Top Employers Institute to market all events in the Gala dinner programme in an easy to navigate website, where multiple events can be registered for.
