It’s hard to get straight answers about legal liability. Everything is some variation on “It depends.” In this session, a lawyer will speak like a normal person to explain issues such as the following: Can we require people to be vaccinated? What if they don’t want to show us proof? What do waivers of liability accomplish? Can we protect our events by contract? Is there insurance for any of this? Because there are no “best practices” for reopening from a pandemic, we will come up with reasonable answers for ourselves.
