PCMA APAC set out to deliver their premier ‘The Business of Events 2025’ conference—a multi-day programme held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, uniting 300+ business event professionals from across the globe. This flagship event featured plenary sessions, concurrent breakout rooms, and extensive networking, all designed to inspire, educate, and connect the business events community. Recognising the increasing expectations of in-person event experiences, PCMA APAC was committed to providing a modern, frictionless journey for its attendees, sponsors, and partners.
Accelerated onboarding and hands-on support
Once Cvent was confirmed as a partner, onboarding and training began immediately. “We received the onboarding emails and the relevant contacts right away,” shares Community & Operations Associate, Roni Mariano. Cvent consultants guided PCMA step-by-step, providing both structured training and responsive guidance, helping first-time users master the platform efficiently—even across time zones.
Real-time badge scanning and attendance data helped the PCMA team adapt and share session participation insights instantly. Sponsors and partners gained increased visibility, while vendors used the app to showcase their services. For example, Wordly offered live translation of the sessions, and ERA Moment provided a photo album, both accessible to attendees via the app.
