Established in 1986, Hong Kong SAR-based Wharf Hotels is a hotel management group with its roots firmly in Asia. The group owns and/or operates 16 hotels in Hong Kong, Mainland China and the Philippines. Its portfolio encompasses the premium Marco Polo Hotels and luxury Niccolo Hotels, offering over 5,200 guestrooms, over 20,600 square metres of meeting space, and crafted experiences for solo or group guests.

A Green Collection

Eleven of Wharf Hotels’ properties are named to Global Hotel Alliance’s (GHA) Green Collection and recognised for their implementation of effective sustainable planning; maximising social and economic benefits for local communities; enhancing the cultural heritage of destinations where they operate; and reducing negative environmental impact. In addition, every Green Collection property has attained an EarthCheck certification – a globally recognised certification signifying the hotel has a strong, well-managed commitment to sustainable practices.

Their Hotels

Marco Polo Hotels’ 11 properties in Hong Kong; Beijing, Jinjiang, Foshan, Wuhan and Xiamen in Mainland China; and Cebu, and Manila in the Philippines are at the centre of their locale, and the perfect point from which to explore and experience a destination.

Offering a variety of conference and event facilities for large-scale conferences, board meetings or celebratory events, Marco Polo Hotels has over 14,000 square metres of space collectively and provide flexible solutions to engage and entertain. Whether the event requires in-person participation or video conference technology – ballrooms, balcony function areas overlooking lush greenery, as well as other indoor and outdoor space can be customised to bring participants together.

Niccolo Hotels is a collection of five contemporary chic hotels inspired by luxury fashion. Underpinning the brand is the desire to make life effortlessly luxurious for guests with engaging experiences, art and culture, and sophisticated spaces. The brand launched its first property, Niccolo Chengdu, in 2015 and has since expanded its footprint to Hong Kong, Changsha, Chongqing and Suzhou.

Located at prime business and entertainment addresses, the hotels offer highly customisable and elegant function areas, grand ballrooms and the show-stopping and glass-enclosed Conservatory.  Across the five properties are meeting areas total close to 7,000 square metres, and include panoramic views, advanced audio-visual capabilities and event specialists to create lasting impressions down to the smallest detail.

It recognises and rewards them for materialised stays and events they place at any Niccolo hotel or Marco Polo hotel.  As a Wharf Hotels Rewards member, they can use their points to redeem gifts, food and beverage vouchers, a spa therapy and even retail therapy.
