Thanksgiving is often used as a time to reflect on what we are grateful for. With the holiday almost here, the Client Success team is excited to share the Top Ten features to be thankful for this year!

  1. Language Management: Language Management allows you to customize the standard Cvent text so that it better matches your brand or organization.
  2. Engagement Score: Discover your attendee’s engagement with your event by creating actions for them to complete throughout the entire process, from registration to post-event feedback. This allows you to see exactly who interacted with what and can help you plan your future event strategy.
  3. Abandoned Registrations: You can view the Abandoned Registrations list to see anyone who visited your registration site but did not finish registering, as well as what page they left off on, and when. Utilize the Abandoned Registrations email setting to send out a targeted email to anyone who abandons registration. You can even customize exactly how long after they abandon registration that email should go out.
  4. Reference IDs: Add Reference IDs to your weblinks to find out which registrants accessed registration through your different marketing channels. For example, you could create them to see if someone arrived from a Facebook post, your Sponsor’s website, or LinkedIn.
  5. Internal Information: With Internal Information, you can create event and account-specific questions that are only visible to fellow account users. After answering the question in the invitee’s record, responses will appear in various reports. This allows you to keep certain invitee information between you and other users, while still having it recorded in Cvent.
  6. Custom Contact Fields: Need to collect specific information from your registrants, but are unable to find a contact field that works? You are in luck! Instead of renaming an already existing contact field to fit your needs, you can create account-wide Custom Contact Fields that can then be displayed during registration and included in reports.
  7. Social Media: When turning on Social Media for your event, this allows you to add the Share and Follow Bars to your event website to help promote your event. With the Share Bar, you can create a custom message that your registrants’ can easily share to their own social media pages with just the click of a button. With the Follow Bar, you can embed your organization’s social media websites straight into your Registration Website.
  8. Custom Data Tags: Data Tags are content blocks or single text tags of information that can be created account-wide and pulled into each event. This allows you to keep messaging consistent across all the different parts of your event.
  9. Cross Event Reports: Cross Event Reports allow you to run reports on multiple events in your Cvent account so that all the data is compiled into one place and easier to view analyze. Whether it is a comparison of your annual event for the past five years or a report of all the registrant details from the past year, Cross-Event Reports will be your best friend!
  10. Attendee List: With the Attendee List widget in the Site Designer, you can show off everyone who has already registered for your event along with their contact information, picture, social media, or any other custom contact field you would like. Within the registration process, attendees will be able to decide whether they would like to be displayed on the Attendee List or not.

If you have not already utilized all these features, try implementing one for your next event. We know you will be thankful you did!
