Collaboration is one of the many keys to successful events. But it goes well beyond just staying in sync. Planners, venues, and vendors alike not only have to work together efficiently, but have to do it in a manner that fosters an unforgettable experience for attendees. To experts in event collaboration, the goal remains the same: Use real-time communication to ensure that all parties have the right information, at the right time, and on the right platform.

Take Atrium Hospitality as an example. The leading hotel and asset management company, which oversees the performance of 83 hotels across 29 states, leveraged Cvent products to help take its event collaboration efforts to a new level. With these tactics, Atrium Hospitality:

  • Expanded Interactive Floor Plans to over 50% of its portfolio.
  • Created more than 11,000 events using the Cvent Event Diagramming tool.
  • Cvent-trained and certified the entire sales and events service team.

They now have a new award to add to their portfolio, as this strategy helped them win a Cvent Excellence Award — The Clever Collaborator, which was presented on stage during Cvent CONNECT 2022 in Las Vegas.

The annual Excellence Awards recognize the top achievers across the hospitality industry, showcasing the accomplishments of industry leaders as they propel growth and inspire the future with innovative solutions. The Clever Collaborator celebrates those who power collaboration between planner, venue, and vendor to new levels, and in doing so create an experience that exceeds all expectations.

Also nominated for the award:

  • Westin Tampa Bay: Created more than 218 events incorporating the Cvent Event Diagramming tool into every proposal, saved 1,000s of archived diagrams for faster response time, and Cvent-trained and certified the entire team.
  • Hyatt Regency Birmingham - The Wynfrey HotelWas able to better diagram socially-distanced space, their planners reported higher satisfaction when able to layout their own space, and this property with 33,000 square feet of space created more than 50 events in 2021.
