Cvent Wins Best Overall Corporate Blog

Company's event planning blog recognized for excellence and creativity in content

McLean, Va. – Cvent (NYSE : CVT), a leading cloud-based enterprise event management platform, announced today that its event planning blog has been named the 2013 Content Marketing award winner for best overall corporate blog by the Content Marketing Institute. Cvent's event planning blog provides meeting planners with a wealth of information on successfully planning corporate events, with articles on the latest in food and beverage trends, to guidance on suitable destinations and locations for groups.

Cvent's event planning blog was also selected as one of six finalists, and the only non-agency finalist, for the category of overall content marketing award – program of the year, alongside notable content marketing programs such as Porsche's Christophorus magazine, Four Seasons' digital magazine and Google Think Insights. The finalists were recognized at Content Marketing World 2013 on Sept. 11, 2013, in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Content Marketing Awards program was launched originally in 2004 as the Magnum Opus Awards. Since 2011 they have been conducted jointly by the Content Marketing Institute and independent content marketing agency McMURRY/TMG.
