Cvent will unveil its highly anticipated annual Top Lists at IMEX Frankfurt 2024, spotlighting the top hotels and meeting destinations across Europe and the UK.

Rankings for Cvent Top Lists are compiled based on qualified sourcing activity generated between January and December 2023, through the Cvent Supplier Network, one of the world’s largest MICE venue-sourcing platforms.

Last year, Barcelona’s W property was crowned the most sought-after European hotel, followed by the Madrid Marriott, Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile, Meliá Castilla and the Hilton Prague.

London meanwhile topped the 2022 list of European meeting destinations. Its ranking was determined by the number of total room nights booked; the number of RFPs (Request-for-Proposals) sent through the marketplace to venues within the city; the total value of the RFPs submitted; and the actual awarded value for meetings booked.

Barcelona came second on the 2022 Top Destination Lists ahead of Paris, Madrid and Lisbon. Berlin took the sixth spot, ahead of Amsterdam in seventh, Rome in eighth, Frankfurt in ninth and Munich in tenth place.

The 2024 Cvent Top Lists will be revealed on Tuesday, 14 May 2024 at 10 am in IMEX Frankfurt’s Press Conference room within the media centre.

What to expect from IMEX Frankfurt 2024

Hospitality professionals heading to Frankfurt for IMEX are in for a treat. You’ll discover a three-day event packed with insights, business solutions and new learning formats including themed guided tours of the show floor.

Also new for 2024 are focused panel discussions with speakers unafraid to tackle tough subjects such as men’s mental health, menopause and social anxiety. She Means Business is again a newly curated program exploring diversity and gender equality.

You’ll find Cvent in the area of the IMEX Frankfurt show floor devoted to technology. This year, we’ve got a bigger stand (C580), with more space for on-stand demonstrations and activities including pre-booked meetings with one of our Cvent product experts.

Representing Cvent on-stage will be Felicia Asiedu (pictured). She heads up the European marketing team on the Event Management and Marketing side of our business.

Felicia will discuss women and AI as part of the She Means Business program on Tuesday 14 May at 11.30 am in the IMEX Ocean Inspiration Hub. She’ll then be on the Encore stage the next day at 1 pm to talk about unlocking the power of standardisation and automation in meetings and events.

IMEX first-timer?

Suppose you’re a first-timer to IMEX, why not join an introductory meet-up on the show’s opening day, which will help you to make new friends and get your bearings.

Plus, don’t forget to download the IMEX app, which will help you to navigate the show floor, book meetings and plan your attendance at over 150 free-to-attend education sessions.

Congratulations to all the hotels and destinations that make our Cvent Top Lists and whether you're a first-timer or an IMEX regular, we look forward to welcoming you onto the Cvent stand and seeing you on the show floor.
