Meetings and events at Mövenpick Hotel Hobart are a wonderful blend of authentic local flavour, curated experiences and the sweet things in life, bringing a revived sense of adventure to the Hobart events scene.

 Each meeting room provides intuitive touches and the technological capabilities that today’s meeting planners expect while sumptuous menus and playful tea breaks pay homage to Tasmania’s outstanding local produce and include chocolate-themed meeting breaks. 

The Kannenner room is a flexible function space that can be divided into two smaller rooms, featuring a pre-conference function space and a full bar for up to 150 guests, while the Nganana room provides the perfect environment for small boardroom style meetings. For jaw-dropping waterfront vistas, the hotel’s level 17 ‘Skybox’ can accommodate 35 guests for intimate alfresco cocktail functions.

Mövenpick’s on-site events team provide the hands-on, personalised service that is essential to hosting a seamless and successful event in Hobart. Competitive half-day and full-day delegate packages are on offer, starting from $69 per person.

 Event organisers can also take advantage of the Accor group’s special reward program designed for meeting planners – ALL (Accor Live Limitless). Planners get to earn 1 Point for every 2€ spent on each eligible event and can even pay up to 15% of their event bill with their existing points with applicable conditions.


The hotel is also home to Tesoro – one of Hobart’s hottest new restaurant openings. Tesoro offers a plush private dining room perfect for more intimate events of up to 32 guests. Wine and dine the night away and enjoy menus that showcase local produce and modern Italian flair.
