Pullman Cairns International is pleased to announce the start of the rejuvenation program at Cairns' most iconic hotel.

The hotel has begun an exciting first stage of room and meeting space renovations, which is scheduled to be completed in November 2021. With an investment of more than $10 million, the first stage of the room's rejuvenation journey will include all guest rooms from levels 3 to 11.

The rooms' design pays homage to the hotel's historic Cairns, Queensland architectural style while also incorporating modern design elements and custom-designed furnishings. Creating relaxing, tropical-inspired spaces that are both comfortable and functional for both leisure and business travellers.

The hotel will bring a new level of contemporary luxury to Cairns, with a simple black and white colour palette accented by light-coloured woods and accent colours, designed to complement the colonial past while creating relaxed modern luxury.

The light filled, spacious rooms will also draw your attention to the stunning artworks from a hand-selected collection of the most talented and inspiring artists in the Cairns region. Each floor features the artwork of one artist, taking guests on a journey of diverse artistic style, culture, colour and form.

The hotel is also very proud to share that all of its 11 meeting and events spaces are currently undergoing a stunning $1 million transformation, which will be completed in October 2021, in keeping with the Pullman brand promise of stylized design and seamless technology.

The Grand Ballroom will offer the digital nomads the best technology the region has to offer with a 42m2 LED screen, allowing your delegates to enjoy the highest quality sound and visual experience. This is a first for the Cairns region.                                   

Moreover, the Grand Ballroom is Cairns' largest hotel ballroom with a capacity of up to 700 delegates. It is Cairns' best choice for conferences, gala dinners, cocktail parties, and trade shows, or simply any event that needs to impress the attendees. High ceilings, traditional chandeliers, and state-of-the-art audio visual with a dedicated in-house audio-visual team greet you as you enter the 500 sophisticated square metre space.
