Cvent Conference News: March & April 2022 Product News Round Up
We’ve gathered the recent Cvent Conference product updates below into a summary to make it easy for you to see what’s new that launched in March and April of 2022.
Recent Releases:
Simplified Hotel Booking
Conference incorporates hotel booking directly into the registration flow, helping to fill your contract hotel block. Due to the number of steps a registrant goes through, they often stop after registration is complete and come back later to book a hotel. To combat the low quantity of attendees who book their hotel during their initial registration, the hotel booking process was simplified to have less steps, keeping them engaged the first time through and helping you meet your hotel block requirements.
- When to use: Now the Conference standard hotel booking form
- Who would use: Support Staff, Registration Mangers, Planners
Bulk Email Function added to Nomination Module
A nominee approver may be managing up to hundreds of nominees and to be able to quickly notify nominees of status changes, the ability to email status changes in bulk has been implemented. This enhances the ability for resending emails, as they can now be sent in bulk as well.
- When to use: When sending multiple approval or denial emails to nominees
- Who would use: Planners and support staff

- Exhibitor Pending Payments – Enhancement to functionality around managing exhibitor payments
- New endpoint for managing Exhibitor registrants – Conference APIs will be able to facilitate the ability for 3rd parties to link Exhibitors and Invitees/Registrants
