Event personalization has been trending for years, now. But the big question remains, how do you personalize your event at scale? It’s easy to understand how you might personalize an event for 20, but what about an event of 300? Or 3,000?

Personalization at Every Stage

It’s easier than you think. The key? Technology. Event technology allows you to collect data on your attendees at every stage. Of course, with no actionable plan, what do you do with all that data? How do you possibly sift through it? From start to finish, we’ve made it easy. At each event stage, we’ve broken down what data you should be collecting, where you get that data from, and how you to use it. Curious? Check out The Power of Personalization.

Before the Event

Your first information from attendees comes from the form submissions on your website, primarily from registration. This information will allow you to customize emails, offers, and more.

During the Event

Onsite, the real data gathering begins. You can track your attendee’s digital footprint to find out where they go, for how long, and what they enjoy. The mobile event app, RFID technology, in-app surveys, and more will help you build out a more complete attendee profile that you can use to switch up content offerings based on ratings or move the coffee station based on foot traffic.

After the Event

Personalization doesn’t end when the attendees leave. Feedback surveys can give you incredibly detailed information that you can use as you begin planning your next event. And, once you have data on attendees, you can use that data to better market and design an event that they want to attend the next year.

This was just a high-level look at personalization. For a true deep-dive, read The Power of Personalization!
