Be prepared for anything. It’s a phrase that meeting and event planners and marketers know by heart. But, as the past year showed us, there are some things you can’t prepare for.

After the tumult of 2020, we’ve learned some of the dos and don’ts of virtual events, how to host safer in-person events, and have begun to think about hybrid events. We’ve all learned new technology and figured out how to connect even at a distance.

One benefit of this newfound education is the increased focus on a total event programme versus planning individual, fragmented events. Looking at the complete programme of events has helped organisations worldwide to think strategically about what events to run, how they should run, their technology choices and the teams needed to execute the programme.

As we move into 2021, it’s time to look back on the successes and missteps of the past year to create a future ready strategy for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.

Build an event programme that’s future proof. An event programme that utilises virtual events, begins incorporating hybrid events into your event stack, and understands how to handle the return of in-person events

In the Future Ready Strategy webinar series, we provide the knowledge and tools you need to make sure that no matter what is thrown at you this year, you’ll be future ready.

Secrets to Structuring Your Total Event Program

This year has changed the way we look at our event programmes. As we look to 2021 and beyond, one thing is clear: virtual and hybrid events are here to stay, and, alongside traditional in-person events, will become fixtures in any successful event programme. With these new event types comes a greater opportunity to reach and engage new and larger audiences and deliver more leads, pipeline and revenue.

Capturing that opportunity requires a shift in strategy and a re-imagining of the traditional relationships between marketers and event planners. As the need to execute and deliver value across all event types becomes the norm, the role technology plays will move to the forefront.

Hindsight is 2020: Retrospect that Drives Future Event Planning Success

What would you do differently for your events in 2020 if you had known what kind of year it was going to be? 2021 gives you the opportunity to learn from a year when decision-making and planning was riddled with challenges. Looking back will help you establish how to determine which events remain virtual, which events to host in-person, and which events should become a hybrid event experience

In this webinar, hear from several Cvent customers and partners as they discuss their event programmes pre-pandemic, during-pandemic, and how hindsight and data are driving their strategic planning and decision-making process for 2021 event programme success.

Hybrid How-To: A Step-by-Step Guide to Hosting a Successful Hybrid Event

With residual safety concerns, reduced travel budgets and restrictions still in effect, organisations are finding creative ways of satisfying both organisational and attendee needs with their live event programs. Enter: the hybrid event

Hybrid events combine the best of both in-person and virtual experiences, allowing for maximum flexibility, accommodation, and accessibility amongst your attendees. In this webinar, we’ll break down the basic elements of a hybrid event and give you practical tips that will help you design a successful hybrid event.

The Digital Revolution: Static Webinars Reimagined for Maximum Engagement

Up until recently, webinar programmes have remained relatively stagnant in terms of technology capabilities and audience expectations. But, with a heightened focus on virtual events, and audience expectations demanding even more engaging content and interactivity, organisations must rethink how they remain relevant and keep audiences tuned in from start to finish.

In this webinar, we'll discuss the new emerging ways to garner audience attention through enhanced production, content delivery, and captivating new strategies for packaging your entire webinar programme.

All Together Now: New Roles for a Changing Events Landscape

Traditional in-person events had largely been executed by planning teams with limited interaction with other functional teams. But, with virtual events pushing new boundaries and new disciplines being critical to success, it’s predicted that even when we transition back into in-person and new hybrid event models, both traditional planning and newly acquired digital skills will remain a staple of event strategy and execution.

In this webinar, we’ll discuss the new blend of planning and marketing required for your total event program including logistics, production, technology, demand gen, digital marketing, and martech operations to name a few. You’ll leave with a clearer picture of the key roles, responsibilities, and new skillsets your team will need to master for event success in 2021 and beyond.

How to Plan for Safer In-Person Event Experiences

The value of in-person events is undeniable and, more than ever, the wellbeing of your attendees has to be your top priority. The more organisers can build and market a safe experience, the more likely they are to have a successful, well-attended event. Look at how attendees check-in and move through your event as well as consume content and network.

Back to Basics: Delivering Great In-Person Events

The road to event recovery in 2021 is heavily reliant upon the return to in-person events. Though you have spent a good amount of time learning how to deliver virtual events and will benefit from the ability to execute fantastic hybrid events, at the core of your event planning strategy are the traditional face-to-face events that we all know and love.

As we return to a world where in-person events could once more become the norm, how will you entice your audience to return?

Have you thought about an event marketing and management strategy that will work for 2021? What does event registration and onsite support look like in a post-pandemic world? In this webinar, discover how to unlock the power of what you already know, to get back to what you are good at, whilst introducing a new edge in this new age.
