“This pivot to virtual, at least for the short term, is nearly absolute.” - Reggie Aggarwal, CEO & Founder of Cvent during the opening keynote at CventCONNECT Virtual

Reggie hit the nail on the head – virtual events can and have proven to be powerful vehicles to accomplish many of your event and business goals. Virtual event success depends on aligning event and business goals, identifying key performance indicators, and analyzing event data. Virtual integrations can be used to streamline the analysis of your event data and so much more.

Integrating Cvent with your virtual meeting solution means unified data without error-prone, manual data exports and imports. Only Cvent registrants will be able to join your virtual event, and once it’s over, key attendance and engagement data will automatically pass back to Cvent.

Cvent has built integrations™ with a number of virtual meeting solutions including: WebEx, GlobalMeet, GoToWebinar, Zoom, and Intrado. While not all integrations are the exact same, they all follow the same general workflow. The event invitee will start by registering for the event in Cvent. The integration will then sync the event registrations from Cvent over to the virtual meeting in WebEx, GlobalMeet, etc. The registrant will receive an email containing the virtual meeting information, which will include the link needed to attend the virtual meeting. The registrant will then attend the virtual meeting. Lastly, the integration will sync with the virtual meeting to pull a list of participants and mark them as participated in Cvent.

The workflow doesn’t have to stop there! This participant status can allow you to automatically award continuing education credits based on the sessions an individual attended. Feedback surveys can be sent out to all registrants and tailored to each participant’s attended sessions. Certificates of completion can then be sent out to illustrate the credits awarded. Customers are loving that they can use their regular Cvent event emails and just add data tags to pull in their virtual meeting information! The integration does much more than just track participation – it streamlines the entire registrant management process.

If you don’t currently have a preferred virtual meeting provider, reach out to your Cvent Account Manager. They will be able to work with you and discuss all of your options, including Cvent’s Virtual Attendee Hub®. The Virtual Attendee Hub is an integral part of our Event Marketing and Management Platform, providing solutions to reliably and securely plan, promote, and drive engagement for virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.
